By default, clients will only be able to book one lesson at a time. However, you can allow your clients to book multiple lessons by setting the maximum number of dates/times that can be booked at once.
Setting the Maximum Lesson Booking Limit
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Integrations & Add-ons".
- Click on "Settings" under the Website Booking Plugin.
- Select either "Lesson Booking" or "Both" under the "Booking Modes" section.
- Enter a number in the "Maximum Lessons per Booking" field.
- Save your changes.
What it looks like from a Client's Perspective
When clients click on the "Book a Lesson" button, the booking process will remain the same and they'll first select a service and then select a tutor.
However, when a client clicks on an available time slot, they will be presented with the following two options:
- Add & Continue
- Add & Select Another
When a client selects "Add & Continue", they will be directed to the "Contact Information" form to fill out their personal information for the booking. This process works the same as the Website Booking Plugin does when clients are only able to book one lesson at a time.
On the other hand, when a client selects "Add & Select Another", the selected timeslot will be added to the top of the page and then they'll be able to select another timeslot. This process can be repeated until they have reached the number of bookings that has been specified within the "Maximum Lessons per Booking" field.
After clients have selected a service, teacher and time slots, they will be able to confirm their booking and submit.
Viewing Bookings
You can view bookings in your Teachworks account by going to the Calendar tab and clicking the "Lesson Bookings" option.
When a client has booked multiple lessons, the "Date & Time" column will display the first lesson time and a number to display how many additional lessons were booked, as indicated in the image below:
You can click on the lesson title in the "Lesson" column to view all of the individual lessons that the client booked.
