The Invoice Autopilot Add-on allows you to generate invoices according to the settings specified when creating the autopilot schedules. However, it is possible to run into situations where lessons have been missed by the auto-pilot when using the "Lessons by Date" option and this usually happens for the following reasons:
- If you require lessons to be marked as attended before being invoiced and the teachers did not complete their lessons in time.
- If lessons have been added to the calendar after the invoices have already been generated.
You can solve these potential problems by creating catch-up auto-pilot schedules. Catch-up auto-pilot schedules ensure that lessons that weren’t invoiced by your primary schedules automatically get invoiced at a later time.
For example, your company may have rules that require a teacher to complete a lesson within 3 days after a lesson has concluded. If you've setup a daily invoice auto-pilot schedule, there is potential for teachers to complete lessons after the lesson date. You can setup a second catch-up auto-pilot schedule with an "Offset" of 3 days that will ensure the catch-up invoices will be generated 3 days after your primary schedule runs, catching any lessons completed up to 3 days after the lesson date. Below you will find images displaying the difference between the primary schedule and the catch-up schedule:

You can also create catch-up schedules for any period of time without being limited to 3 days. As an example, if you have a weekly invoice auto-pilot schedule, you would alter the "Offset" field to 7 days after the period end.
