This add-on lets you store tax or payroll identification numbers (such as Australian Business Numbers, Social Insurance Numbers, or Social Security Numbers) for teachers and employees. These numbers can easily be included in payslip emails or on teacher invoices.
Enabling
To enable this add-on, go to Account & Settings > Integrations & Add-Ons > Tax/Payroll Identification Numbers Add-On > Enable.
Usage
1. Adding the number to employee profiles:
Once enabled, you will notice a “Payroll ID Number” field on employee profiles under the “Employment Details” section.
2. Adding the number to employee payslips:
Once you’ve enabled the add-on, a {PAYROLL-ID} merge tag will be added to the "Employee Payment" email template.
If you've included this merge tag in your email template, the payroll ID recorded on employee profiles will be added to their email.
To edit this template, you can go to Account & Settings > Notification Templates > Employee Payment > Edit.
Security
The numbers are encrypted in the database for additional security. They are then decrypted when they are rendered on the employee's profile.
Please note: While we follow security best practices for keeping your information secure, companies are responsible for storing and handling employee identification numbers in accordance with the privacy laws for their respective country.
