This reduces the amount of data that you need to enter into the template since you only need to enter the first & last name or email address (to identify the record to update) and the values in the fields that you want to change.
If you would like to remove values from a field, you can add the word "remove" in the relevant field when completing the template.
Uploading The Template
Once you've entered the information into the template that you would like to update in Teachworks, you can follow these steps to upload the template and update your records:
1. Go to Students > Students (for updating child students/families and independent students). To update employee information go to Employees > Import Employees.
2. Upload your file using the "Choose File" button under the "Select .xls file" heading.
3. Choose the Upload Action that suits your needs. If you're updating records, be sure to select one of the update "Upload Actions."
