Profile Options
This section allows you to control the information that appears on the profiles that are displayed. The data is pulled directly from employee profiles, so you may want to make sure that all the selected fields are up-to-date for each employee.
You can choose to display or hide the following fields:
- Last Name
- Last Name Initial
- Photo, Position
- Bio
- City
- State
- Teacher Since
- Subjects
- General Availability
Style Options
In this section you can edit the color of the name tag and text to match your branding and website design using the following settings:
- Name Tag Color
- Name Tag Text Color
Layout
The Layout section allows you to choose how you’d like teacher profiles to display on your website. The Add-On supports two layouts:
- Grid - Using this option will display teacher profiles in a grid format. A total of 10 profiles (default amount) will be displayed initially and website visitors will be able to keep viewing more profiles in groups of 10.
- Directory - Using this option will display teacher profiles in a list format. A total of 10 profiles (default amount) will be displayed initially and these will be replaced by the next 10 results if website visitors view more profiles (previous and next buttons are included).
When website visitors click the “View Profile” button or name tag, they’ll see more information about the employee:
Subject Filter
When you enable the "Subject Filter" setting, you will allow your clients to filter teacher profiles by subject. The subject filter will be displayed at the top of the profile list, as shown below:
Subjects
This field will only be displayed if you've enabled the "Subject Filter". This field allows you to select which subjects will appear in the subject filter. If it is left blank, all subjects will be included.
Profiles Per Page
This setting allows you to choose the amount of profiles you'd like to display on each page. The maximum number of profiles that can be displayed on a single page is 30 and the default value is 10.
Employees
This field allows you to choose the employees (both staff and teachers) that you would like to include on your website. You can select employees from the drop down menu or start by typing the first few letters of their name.
You can also choose the order in which profiles are displayed on your website. It can be ordered alphabetically by first name or last name, or you can set the order manually.
If you'd like to set the order manually, click the "Set Profile Order" link (if you don't see this link right away, you may want to save the form to "refresh" the page).
On the "Employee Profile Order" page, you can click, drag and drop employee names in the preferred order.
Website Profiles Script
You can find the profiles script in this section. Simply copy the line of code and paste it in your website’s HTML code where you want the profiles to appear.
Adding Multiple Website Profile Sections to your Website
You can display employee profiles on your website in distinct groups by creating multiple website profile plugins and adding them to your website separately.
