Lesson costs are set automatically when you 1) schedule new lessons, or 2) update existing lessons. Costs are based on the billing method on the student's profile and either the profile cost or the service list cost. The following is a summary of how different billing methods affect lesson costs.
Hourly Rate from Student Profile
When a lesson is scheduled the cost will automatically be set using the hourly rate set on the student's profile multiplied by the duration of the lesson.
Hourly Rate from Price List
When a lesson is scheduled the cost will be set automatically based on the service type of the lesson and the cost for that service in your service list. This rate will be multiplied by the duration of the session.
Cost & Wage Premium
If a student has a cost & wage premium set on their profile, the amount will be added to their lesson cost based on the cost premium set in their profile and the amount set in your cost & wage premiums list.
If you set a discount on a student's profile, the discount will be applied to the the total cost of the session including the cost premium if it has been applied.
The lesson cost is set to zero, since the student is being charged at a flat rate on the invoice.
The lesson cost is set to zero since the client is paying for the lessons when they purchase a package of lessons.
