In order to create an invoice in Teachworks, you can follow the steps below:
- Click on "Billing" and then click on "Create Single Invoice".
- In the "Customer" field, select the customer you'd like to create an invoice for.
- You can add charges, packages or lessons to the invoice using the select menu under the invoice items section of the invoice.
- Add Charge - To add a charge, select the "Add Charge" option and click the "Go" button. Enter the charge details. The invoice totals will automatically be calculated as you enter the charge details.
- Add Package - To add a package, select the "Add Package" option and click the "Go" button. Select the service type for the package, enter a description, number of hours and hourly rate.
- Lessons by Date - To add lessons, select the "Add Lessons" option and then enter the start and end dates from which to draw lessons. When you create the invoice the customers, any uninvoiced lessons in that date range will be added to their invoices.
NOTE: The lesson times added to invoices are displayed in the time zone set on the customer's profile.
- If you don't want to make the invoice available to the customer immediately, click the "Save" button. Otherwise click the "Approve" button.
