You can customize the subject and message of the notifications sent to students, parents and employees from your Teachworks account. To customize your templates follow these steps:

Go to the Account & Settings tab and click on Notifications.

Click the link for the template that you want to edit.

Enter the subject and message of your choice using the merge tags displayed next to the form for any fields that will be customized for the recipient.

Save the form after making your changes.

You can restore the default template by clicking the "Restore Default" link displayed next to the title of a modified template.
A note on merge tags:
When you are creating or editing notification templates, you will notice a list of merge tags towards the right. Merge tags are unique for each type of notification, so only use the merge tags available for that notification.
