You can customize the subject and message of the notifications sent to students, parents and employees from your Teachworks account. You can follow the steps below to customize your notification templates:
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Notification Templates".
- Click on the "Edit" link next to the template you want to edit.
- Enter a subject in the "Subject" field.
- Customize the message of your choice using the merge tags displayed next to the form.
- Click on "Submit" to save your changes and update the notification template.
If you've made changes and would like to use the default template again, you can restore the default template by clicking the "Restore Default" link displayed next to the title when editing a notification template.
NOTE: When you are creating or editing notification templates, you will notice a list of merge tags towards the right. Merge tags are unique for each type of notification, so only use the merge tags available for that notification.
