Locations are the places where you provide your tutoring services. The location for a lesson is set when you schedule the lesson.
Adding a Location
You can follow the steps below to add a new location:
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Locations".
- Click on the "Add Location" link in the sidebar on the right-hand side.
- Enter a name for the location in the "Name" field.
- Select a color for the location using the "Calendar Color" field. This will be used if you select the option to color-code your calendar by "Location". The colors are also used for any breakdown reports that use "Location" for classification.
- You can set up sub-locations within your main locations (ie. for rooms within a tutoring center). To do this, check the "Is sub-location" box and then select the location that the sub-location belongs to.
- If you don't want to include this location in your Location Calendar, then check the box next to "Exclude from Location Calendar".
- You can include an address if you want. This may be useful for students to find your location. For example, you might add a location with the name "Room 1" and you would enter your company address in the address fields.
- Submit the form. If you want to add another location click the "Submit & Add Another".
Editing Locations
You can also edit existing locations following the same steps as above, except you would click on the "Edit" button in the row of the location you'd like to edit instead of the "Add Location" option.
Deleting Locations
In order to delete a location, you can navigate to the "Locations" table and then click the delete button in the row of the location that you want to delete.
Google Maps
You can also display a link to Google Maps for addresses that are on client profiles and locations by following the steps below:
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Account Settings".
- Scroll down to the "Miscellaneous Settings" section.
- Set the "Google Maps for Addresses" setting to "On".
- Submit the form to save your changes.
