Time Series Reports

Time Series reports display the daily total value of a particular measure for a period of time. A line chart is displayed at the top of the report with the totals for each day displayed in a table below. Time Series reports can be found under the "Reports" tab. 

Settings

The settings for the time series report are located in the sidebar.

1. Start - Use this field to select the "Start" date of the report.
2. End - Use this field to select the "End" date of the report.
3. Measure - Use this field to select the measure that you want to display. You can select between the following measures:
   • Gross Margin
   • Invoice Totals (by invoice date or due date)
   • Invoice Totals less credit notes
   • Credit Notes
   • Payments Received
   • Teacher Payments
   • Lesson Revenue
   • Lesson Wages
   • Package Revenue
   • Lesson Count
   • Lesson Count by Student
   • Lesson Hours
   • Lesson Hours by Student
   • Other Event Wages

Gross Margin

The difference between revenue and teacher earnings expresses as a percentage. This percentage might be negative depending on the student's billing method. For example, if the student's billing method is set to "Package" the fees for the lesson will be $0 (Paid up front using package) and the teacher wage will be a number greater than $0 resulting in a negative gross margin. 

Invoice Totals (By Date or Due Date)

Show the total for all invoices in the date range selected. 

Credit Note Totals 

Shows the total credit notes that were created in the time period selected. It includes allocated and unallocated credit notes. 

Payments Received

Displays a summary of all the payments received by date. Use the Breakdown Report to filter payments by method of payment (cash, credit, cheque). 

Teacher Payments 

Displays a total of all the payments made to teachers by date. 

Lesson Revenue

Lesson revenue takes into account all the lessons on the schedule and calculates revenue for the date range chosen regardless or payments received. Use the Breakdown Report to filter by service, teacher, location, status and custom status. 

Lesson Wages

Shows a report for all the employee earnings for the period selected. You can choose to filter the wage report by service, teacher, location or status in the Breakdown Report

Package Revenue

Displays the revenue for all package units purchased regardless of payment. 

Lesson Count / Student Lesson Count

Lesson counts show the total lessons in the calendar in the date range selected. You can filter lesson count by service, teacher, location, status and custom status using the Breakdown Report. Lesson count per student shows a total per each student. 

Hours / Hours Per Student

Creates a report based on all the hours scheduled in the date range selected. "Hours" reports the duration of all lessons, "Hours per student" shows the lesson hours per each student. For example, a 1-hour lesson with 3 students will count as 1 hour for the "Hours" report, but as 1 hour for each of the students in the lesson in the "Hours Per Student" report.

Other Event Wages

Shows a report for all the earnings that employees' made for other events for the period selected. You can choose to filter the other events wage report by service, teacher, location or status in the Breakdown Report
