Lesson Reminders are sent automatically to the participants in an upcoming lesson based on the "Lead Time" you've set in your Account Settings. If you would like to send additional lesson reminders to your clients manually, you can follow these steps:
Enabling Manual Reminders
You can follow the steps below to enable the Manual Lesson Reminders feature:
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Account Settings".
- Scroll down to the "Calendar & Event Settings" section.
- Set the "Manual Lesson Reminders" setting to "On".
- Submit the form to save your changes.
Requirements for Sending Manual Reminders
In order to send manual lesson reminders to your clients, you'll need to ensure that the following requirements are met:
- The client has a valid email address added to the "Email" field on their profile.
- Manual Lesson reminders are only sent to user profiles whose status are currently set to "Active" or "Prospective".
Sending Manual Reminders
- Click on "Calendar" and then click on "Main Calendar".
- Click on a lesson on the calendar that is scheduled in the future with a status of "Scheduled".
- Click on the "Remind" option in the pop-up.
- Select which recipients you would like to send the manual lesson reminders to. You can select from the following options:
- Families
- Students
- Teacher
- Submit the form to send the manual lesson reminders.
NOTE: If you disable the "Enable Lesson Reminder" setting in a user profile, this will prevent automatic lesson reminders from being sent to that user. You can still send them a manual lesson reminder by following the steps above.
NOTE: Manual Lesson Reminders are only available if the current time is earlier than the lesson's start time.
