When using the Stripe Integration, the Custom Forms Add-on allows you to add Stripe's credit card fields to your forms to allow your new clients to save their credit card details. You can find the instructions for creating a Custom Form here: Custom Forms Add-On.
NOTE: If you would like to add credit card details to existing customer profiles, you should use the Custom Form Invitation Add-on, as it will update their existing profiles. If you want to collect credit cards for new clients when they sign up, then you can just use the Custom Forms Add-on.
Adding the Credit Card Fields to an Existing Custom Form
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Integrations & Add-ons".
- Click on "Manage" under the Custom Forms Add-on
- Click on the "Edit" button next to the Custom Form you'd like to add the credit card fields to.
- Scroll down to the "Form Fields" section and click on the "Add Row" link.
- Under the "Stripe Integration" section, select the "Credit Card Fields" option.
- Submit the form to save your changes.
You will now be able to see the credit card fields on the form. The URL stays the same so you do not have to update the links.
NOTE: The family form is made up of 2 sections - one for the family's details, and one for the child student's details. The credit card fields can only be added to the family details section as this profile will be responsible for billing.
