Teachworks supports a variety of teacher wage methods including setting an hourly wage on the teacher's profile or setting an hourly wage based on the service type of a lesson.
An additional option is to set up wage tiers. Wage tiers allow you to pay teachers based on the service type of a lesson, but the tiers also allow you to pay teachers at a different hourly rate for the same service type.
For example, you might create a tiers for teachers based on their years of experience. Teachers with less than a year of experience would be included in the default tier. You would then add tiers for 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, etc. of experience. For each item in your service list you would assign a wage for the new tiers -- allowing you to pay teacher's at different hourly wages for the same type of service.
When you select a service type for a lesson, these teachers' hourly rates would be set at a higher value than teachers in a lower tier.
