You can choose to use a full text date format in your email notifications to make the date more clear to recipients, or you can use the default date format that you've set in your Account Settings.
A default date format includes only the date, month and year in the format that you've selected, such as "10/16/2016". This same date can be displayed in emails as "Sunday, Oct 16, 2016".
To choose the date format to use in notifications, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Account Settings page under the Account & Settings tab.
2. Scroll down to the "Notification Settings" section.
3. In the Email Date Format field, select the option that you would like to use.
4. Submit the form.
