This add-on allows you to create notification templates that can be used for sending tailored messages to families (and family contacts) and/or students for a particular lesson and allows you to include details about the repeat settings if the lesson is apart of a repeating series.
Enabling The Add-on
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Integrations & Add-ons".
- Use the search field on the right and enter "Customer Lesson Emails".
- Click on "Enable" under the add-on's section.
Creating a Custom Lesson Email Template
Once the add-on has been enabled, you can click on the "Manage" option to begin creating custom lesson email templates. You can follow the steps below to create a custom lesson email template for students:
- Click on the "Manage Student Templates" or "Manage Family Templates" link.
- Click on the "Add Student Template" or "Add Family Template" link.
- Add a title for your template in the "Template Title" field.
- Enter a subject for the emails in the "Subject" field.
- In the "Message" field, personalize the message and include any important information by using the merge tags from the "Merge Tags" list on the right-hand side of the template.
- Submit the form to create the custom lesson email template.
Usage
You can send a custom lesson email you've created by following the steps below:
- Click on Calendar and then click on "Main Calendar".
- Click on a lesson that you would like to send a custom lesson email for.
- In the pop-up menu, click on the "Custom Email" option.
- In the drop-down menu, select the template that you would like to send for families and/or students.
- Click on the "Send Email" button to send the selected custom lesson emails.
