The Preset Invoice Charges Add-on allows you to create standard invoice charge items that can be selected to quickly add charge items to your invoices.
Enabling the Add-on
- Click on "Account & Settings" and then click on "Integrations & Add-ons".
- Use the "Search" field on the right-hand side and enter "Preset Invoice Charges".
- Click on "Enable" under the add-on's section.
Usage
Creating Preset Invoice Charges
- Click on "Billing" and then click on "Invoices".
- Click on the "Present Charges" link on the right-hand menu (or click on "Manage" under the add-on's section on the Integrations & Add-ons page).
- Click on "Add Preset Charge" on the right-hand side.
- Enter a title, description, quantity and the unit price.
- Click on "Save" to create the preset invoice charge or "Save & Add Another" to create another preset invoice charge.
TIP: An easy way to create a coupon is by entering a negative amount in the "Unit Price" field.
Adding Preset Charges to Invoices
The Preset Invoice Charges you create can be added to your invoices when creating single invoices, multiple invoices or invoices created through the Invoice Autopilot Add-on.
Single and Multiple Invoices
- Click on "Billing" and then click on "Create a Single Invoice" or "Create Multiple Invoices".
- Select the "Add Charge" option and click on "Go".
- Click on the "Use Preset Charge" drop-down menu and select one of the preset invoice charges you've created.
- The charge will be populated on the invoice with the title, description, quantity and the unit cost you've set automatically.
Invoice Autopilot Add-on
- Click on "Billing" and then click on "Invoice Autopilot Schedules".
- Click on the "Edit Invoice Settings" button to edit the invoice settings.
- Select the "Add Charge" option and click on "Go".
- Click on the "Use Preset Charge" drop-down menu and select one of the preset invoice charges you've created.
- The charge will be populated on the invoice with the title, description, quantity and the unit cost you've set automatically.
Editing or Deleting Preset Charges
If you would like to edit or delete preset charges, you can follow the steps below:
- Click on "Billing" and then click on "Invoices".
- Click on the "Preset Charges" option on the right-hand side (or click on "Manage" under the add-on's section on the Integrations & Add-ons page).
- Click on the pencil icon to edit the preset charge or click on the "X" icon to delete the preset charge.
TIP: You can also edit the details of a preset charge after it's been added directly on the invoice.
NOTE: When editing or deleting a preset charge, any charges that have been added to existing invoices will not be affected.
